Marcus Charles
Marcus Charles is a Martial Arts Instructor based in Chicago. At the age of 16, he first got into physical fitness and bodybuilding and later at age 20, he started training various martial arts such as Filipino Kali, Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, Muai Thai, Grapping, Wing Chun and other disciplines. He has since taught various Military, Law Enforcement, and civilian agencies. Marcus has also several years experience working as a bouncer.
Marcus has trained with and is a certified instructor under some of the best in the business. He is an Associate Instructor and Guro Level One in Maphilindo Silat & Madjapahit Martial Arts under Guro Dan Inosanto.
He is very proud to represent CSW in Illinois as Lead Pro Coach and also to be a Pro Coach One under Erik Paulson. In addition to that, He is certified under Rick Faye, the late Larry Hartsell and Paul Vunak.
Marcus’ goal is to provide a solid real life training curriculum from the traditional to the modern and make his students excel and achieve their own goals in the martial arts, whether they are military, CEOs, executives, or the average civilian.
